ZiYing Wang: Very small but well-stocked shop! Plenty of diverse items and a lot of typical Japanese snacks, although they come a bit pricy, but it is what it is. If itâs convenient itâs worth it (rather than go to China Town). I always grab a Melon Pan, they are fluffy and a good quick snack.
Sabrina Mandelli: Great oriental food choice! Great prices!
Akif Adas: They cant speak english but they are kins enough to communicate. Korean snacks are just awesome. You should try honey dipped snack with basil seeds. It is fresh and sweet. Not too to much sweet.
Pepper Poppins: Good products, some noodles are cheaper in Chinese Market. They have all the essential things and wider choices for Miso soup. Location is easy to access.
Andrea Mango: Good variety of Asian ingredients, including packaged, frozen as well as fresh goods. Prices are reasonable and the stuff friendly and supportive. We feel lucky to have Zenmarket in our neighborhood!
Florina Serban: They have a great diversity of asian food products âŁđ I loved all the products I bought from themâŁ

Tori: It really has every korean ingredient you need

John Mauro: I went to this place because it was recommended by a friend. Honestly, I was not expecting much, but I was positively surprised by everything! The food tasted authentic, it was simple but delicious. You can taste that it was made with love and care, which is rare to find these days. Amazing comfort food. The value for money was insanely good, everything was cheap and their portions are quite big. The service was also amazing: the lady working there explained everything, their food and their concept, and she was available to answer all my questions. They also have a cute Japanese shop. A rare gem in the middle of the city.
Anastasya Stenkoviy: Itâs so good. Every time I come to eat here I feel like Iâm eating at home. And Iâm not even Japanese đ
Laboran: Fresh, delicious, amazing service đ
Eduardo Carbajal: Small but very cozy place. we bought some very nice masks. after which we ate some very good rice dishes and bought some Japanese rice.
Arianna Regazzo: Delicious little place, good bento and very nice Japanese merchandise :) đ±
santo verduci: Great place for Japan lovers great food recommended
Samuele Giulianelli: A beautiful discovery, really great and quality food! Internally very nice place, with an area above it used for the sale of Japanese objects and handicrafts. Considering that we are in the center of Milan, the prices are fair. Really recommended!
Alessandro Violetti: J, minimal and elegant, maximum courtesy and attention.
Patrizia Oliverio: A taste of Japanese specialties in bento format also for takeaway. Fresh food and excellent cuisine, especially if the cuisine of the Osaka restaurant has always been renowned in Milan even by the Japanese themselves. Upstairs a small shop.

Jamie W: Hands down the best sushi in Milan. Although the look of the food is a bit off, but this place is truly authentic and tastes like back in Tokyo. They seasoned the rice very well unlike other places, fish is also good quality, but the rice and fish is very un proportional. Staff were attentive and service was fast for some dish, but they forgot to serve our yakitori bento which took almost an hour. Love and impressed with the food but the atmosphere is very chaotic. We were seated inside next to the walkway and had to keep moving for others to pass by due to small space. If you want a more relax experience, go to Shiro poporoya across the street.
Qin Xu: Authentic but disappointed especially after long queue waiting. The sushi and chirashi is rightly done but I donât understand why they put so much rice and it was loosen already. The maki was pre-prepared and the nori is already soggy. Iâd rather they increase the price to serve me more than just salmon and other common fish
Pauline Yoong: Hits and misses. The sushi is the right taste but rice is rolled too loose. Tempura is just right but tempura sauce is tasteless. Gyoza is good but not the best gyoza Iâve had. Chirashi is excellent and canât find any fault, the rice used is not white rice thou. We also had sake which was great. We arrived around 8pm and was able to find a table so one of us sat down and the other went to order. Tables are all outdoor. After 8.30pm there was a long queue. Payment is made after the meal. The waiters will call out your name when bringing the food to your table. One didnât wear his mask to cover his mouth. They also sell some Japanese products which is great as those products are made in Japan. I think this should be one of the very few authentic Japanese restaurants in Milan.
Cloudia Chen: Authentic Japanese food in a street style;) waiting to get a table was a pain as they designed a difficult process: first order then be seated⊠it created a long chaotic queue due to its system. Plus it was a bit of a problem to maintain only one line with the Italian;)
Judy Chang: Its an institution in Milan. Also charming roadside stall. Quite tasty, though I do remember that I was blown away first time I came here 8 years ago, that quality of fish was better and portions were more generous, though still enjoyed it. Got the seafood bowl take away. It is a must visit for people in Milan though! Service was quick.
Antonio Marfuggi (Papero): Ok, hereâs the quick version: pay a visit to Poporoya, when in Milan. Itâs a gem. Food is great, fresh, fun and the atmosphere of the place makes it special. Go for chirashi. Also donât be shy and explore the menu with no fear of disappointment. The longer version: some restaurants are just something else. In places like those, not only you taste excellent food, whatever the cuisine, but also experience the unique character of the people behind it. Poporoya is one of those, a unique place. Chef Minoru âShiroâ Hirasawaâs little Japanese kitchen - a place that opened in its first form in the early â70s, well ahead of the much more recent sushi craze - is tiny, down to earth, quirky, cheerful. It is not fancy in a glossy fashionable sense of the word: itâs all about good food and personality. Getting a spot is a matter of patience and strategy, especially on weekends. I ended up there on a rainy day upon recommendation of a good friend of mine, also a food rascal, during my most recent visit to Milan. By the gods of Valhalla!, it has been worth it. Shiro is best known for his chirashi, a bowl of sushi rice covered with raw fish goodness. Imagine a huge rainbow nigiri in a bowl. The artfully assembled slices of fish are fresh, tasty, and of a generous size without being unwieldy to your chopsticks. Rice is impeccable. Avocado punctuates the dish here and there, adding to body and texture. Ingredients are mixed with expertise. All best features of sushi are there: simple, fresh (there, I said it again), well presented. It requires modesty and skill, passion channeled by composure and exercise. This would be enough for me to suggest you lift your weary limbs, get there and replenish yourselves with this Milanese chirashi pleasure. But thatâs not all. By far. My lust for food made me ask for grilled squid rings in a teriyaki sauce, and some nasu dengaku, broiled aubergine covered with miso glaze and sesame seeds, a classic âJapanese pubâ dish. Verdict? Also really good, especially the aubergine. At this point itâs important to mention that my dining companions and I were sat at the tiny sushi counter, with direct access to Shiro himself. Iâll tell you a super secret (that probably you and everyone else already know about): those are always the best seats in a sushi place, possibly in every restaurant. You can talk to the chefs and be nice to them. If they have the time for it and are in the right mood, the reward will be great. So we thanked âil Capoâ, the Boss, and his aide, for what they had done for us so far. Shiro didnât shy away from the conversation and we soon found ourselves talking about his next door enterprise, a more formal restaurant bearing his name and run by his son, sporting Tokyo-inspired Japanese cuisine. And take a look at the pictures from this review, youâll see him unashamedly posing for a silly photo along with his creations. (Thanks, dude, really.) Thatâs it? End of fun? Nuh-uh: we couldnât have left without nigiri. It wouldâve been disrespectful - towards our gluttony, that is. Supple, unctuous, salty, well supported by the tiny rice bed, Shiroâs nigiri did not let us down. Neither did he: getting hold of a bottle of imo shochu, a distilled sweet potato spirit smooth as silk and packed with umami, he celebrated the end of our meal with a toast. Straight into the âthatâs why I â€ïž foodâ list. I shall be back to Poporoya, and you should also go. Then go again. And again. And again.
